Beginning in 2001, Muirfield Sports has maintained a determined mandate to create and provide the ultimate in Synthetic Turf Golf Greens and Lawnscapes throughout the southwestern United States. Coupling an extensive background in Golf, both as a longtime PGA Professional and several forays into actual golf course architecture with noted Architects such as Palmer Course Design, Clyde Johnston and Robert Walker, our aim was to bring forth the ultimate designs in synthetic Turf versions for passionate golfers at their dream homes.

Combining the finest in Synthetic Turf products with expert and precise installation with a style so realistic that our creations continually receive the "Wow" factor. Really, do not all passionate golfers want to have their own Green, but have never seemed to progress apparently due to mundane offerings, versus the chance to replicate something to truly be proud of its realism. With aspects of contoured tiers, Pot bunkers, railroad ties and distinctive elevations our Greens seem to have a spirit of something from Pete Dye, Tom Fazio or the new phenomenon in architecture, Tom Doak of Pacific Dunes fame.

Since our inception our objective has been to finally provide the passionate golfers, like ourselves the ultimate in an artificial golf green, thus we have continued to add and refine design elements and installation techniques within our projects. Admittedly our work is purposely not the fastest, but certainly the most tedious as we always adapt the mandate that we are creating a 20+ year project, and the ultimate compliment to our business is surpassing our client's expectations; thus enabling them to be a very proud owner of a MUIRFIELD SPORTS Golf Green or Lawn.

 Before we ever turn a shovel, our "pre-designs" are truly something to marvel at, and many times provide a great framed memory at the project site of how it all began. Most likely you can feel the passion and dedication within our Company, and coupled with our Client's enthusiasm, undoubtedly results in spectacular projects.

Jim Lawrence ~ Owner/President & CEO:    A unique professional background as a PGA Golf Professional, golf industry equipment executive and an extensive involvement with synthetic Turf design and installation, has provided the ideal foundation for masterful creations with synthetic Golf Greens and adjoining Lawnscapes.  After a tenure in managing the west coast for Fieldturf, Jim founded Muirfield Sports (named after his favorite golf venue; the famed Muirfield in Scotland), based on the principle of providing his clients, the ultimate in creative realism with their artificial putting greens.  Taking a personal involvement in each project assures that all of our clients benefit from his vast golf experience and synthetic Turf creation techniques, ultimately resulting in Golf Greens which mirror the affects of the actual course itself.  Certainly his adjoining Lawnscapes incorporate the same devotion to detail and creative.

Cheri Rennison-Brostrom / Partner:       As a longtime resident of Carefree, Arizona and having culminated a distinguished 25-year Management career with Walgreens Corporation, and best of all of fresh and creative approach to our Golf Green Projects and Landscape Design, Cheri insures the cohesive function of the business aspects of Muirfield Sports.   Aside from that she spearheads the marketing aspects of the company in current and new markets throughout the southwest.  Meticulous with her approach in design and processes, Cheri brings a much revered perspective to this ever growing industry.
